Free Application for Federal Student Aid

Federal Student Aid, an office of the United States Department of Education, ensures all eligible individuals can benefit from government funded or federally guaranteed financial assistance for any education beyond high school.

Over the years, Federal Student Aid has become instrumental in supporting post-secondary education, giving potential students opportunities to fund their education.

Upon completing a FAFSA application, the office of Federal Student Aid can interact with post-secondary schools, financial institutions and other participants in the Title IV student financial assistance programs to deliver services that help students finance their education.

Each year, Federal Student Aid processes 14 million FAFSA applications and disburses more than $80 billion in financial aid to students across the United States. So if you’re a parent with children who are college-ready or a student ready to enroll, check out FAFSA.
