Ways to Give
There are numerous ways to give back and benefit the community:
- Outright Gift
Give cash, stocks, bonds, real estate or personal property to the Community Foundation. In this case, your gift would qualify for maximum charitable benefit under state and federal law. - Bequest
Designate portions of your estate to the Community Foundation. - Charitable Remainder Trust
Set up a trust fund that pays you or a beneficiary annually. Upon your death, your trust transfers to the Community Foundation into whichever charitable fund you select. - Charitable Lead Trust
Place a cash gift or real estate in a trust that pays the Community Foundation for a predetermined number of years. When that time period is over, the funds remaining in the trust are transferred to the beneficiaries previously selected.

Who can Give?
Anyone! JCF accepts gifts of all sizes, from $5 to $1,500,000 and more. Anyone concerned about helping the community and willing to donate, not matter what size of the gift, can have an impact. The Jackson Legacy Program will benefit all Jackson County High School graduates. We will create economically and civically prepared citizens, and in the process revitalize the Jackson community! A vibrant Jackson leads to quality education, which ultimately leads to economic success.
